MEET THE LEADERS
Bruce and Gregg Johnson now guide the company started by their grandfather, Leon Kimball Johnson, in 1940. The business began with selling home appliances and heating systems. In the mid-1940s, it started offering kitchens and Lee Kimball Kitchens was born. Now, the company provides complete design and build services – including planning, project management, and construction – for home renovation projects. Bruce worked by his grandfather’s side learning every aspect of the business and its key to success. Gregg earned his degree in building construction technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology. When their grandfather retired in 1989, the brothers bought the company. And, like their grandfather, they hold fast to the belief that serving clients with respect and innovation should always be top priority. ``We haven’t lost sight of how we got here,’’ they say. ``As we move forward into a new era, we remain steadfast in our convictions and balanced in our approach.’’
