Globe Home of the Week: Greek Revival Mansion
This week’s Globe Home of the Week is a Greek Revival mansion in Hudson, Mass. The home, a 9,000 square foot property, was built over 100 years ago, but has undergone renovations that have preserved its historical integrity. Within the walls of the home is a truly breathtaking living space. In the foyer area, a central stairwell leads past a stained glass panel of Julius Caesar and up into a large “great hall” with a ceiling painted with white clouds and a blue sky. Unique features in the home include a pool room, ballroom, parlor, library, and much more. Once a fraternal lodge, the home also has parking for 33 cars!
